When to get an oil change?
What's the recommended schedule for oil changes when you don't put a whole lot of miles on? I got my GT AWD in March and just hit 1000 miles a couple weeks ago.

But that would require going out to the garage and looking at the manual. I'm far too lazy for that

Ain't perfect, but better than having to walk to the garage and wade through the War & Peace version of the paper manual.

What most do not understand is that ALL new engines will break in and as such there is always materials of all sorts as well chemical assembly lubes, greases etc. that really should be removed sooner then what any Factory Service oil and filter service recommends.
I had my first oil/filter oil sample analyzed with Black Stone Oil Labs and it clearly showed all what I mentioned. It was not until the 3rd oil/filter service that the engine finally was the oil I use only and not other material and chemicals. I am pretty sure I posted my first analysis in my thread but I have posted so many I honestly dont remember right off the top of my head.
