Angry What is this plastic strip called on the roof?

Hi all!
I was wondering if anyone knew what the black plastic stripping is called that goes along the entire roof-line on both the passenger and driver's sides (I don't know what it's called or what it's actually for). It is not in between the roof and door, rather in a channel along the roof towards the edge. I had Safelite out to my house to install a new windshield and the technician broke and discarded the piece on the driver's side and claimed it was like that when he got there, though photographic evidence suggests otherwise, including his fingerprints where he obviously removed it after breaking it lol. In this picture is where the strip is supposed to be.
I look forward to your thoughts. Thanks!

The channel is for adding roof rack rails. Lots of online sources for the rails, but not much demand for the covers. So, check with your Mazda dealer's part dept. Or maybe post a WTB in the classified here. Should be quite a few owners who have extra covers they took off to install roof racks. Or, of course, you could install roof rack rails instead.

Great, thanks for the info! I might do a WTB for the cover. Though we want a roof rack, it's out of the budget right now.
Thanks again, mate.
