Just bought a 2022 CX-5 Premium, and the car is awesome! One thing though, after driving around for a few weeks and I happen to fade the sound to the rear speakers. The volume for the rear channels alone is extremely low, MUCH lower than the fronts alone. Now before you say, they're tuned that way, go to your 2022 CX-5 and do this: turn up your volume to an acceptable level, then fade the audio to the rear channels only. I have tried all the settings I feel I can try (even restored factory settings) to adjust the volume higher on the rear, but as soon as the front is faded back, the volume blows me out of the car (almost).

I have replaced the speakers, and did it in a way I can put the factory's back in place.

Maybe it's just me, but to me, the rear channels being underpowered is almost unacceptable. Just looking for more drivers with the same issue. Thank you for your time!

If this should be a separate thread, just let me know.

I just bought a 2019 cx-5 get premium. I haven’t figured out the audio or other controls yet. I was trying to adjust the sound because the Bose speakers sound weak. I tried the fade to the rear and that was worse. Hope there is a way to get better sound quality. I do like higher bass. Let me know if there are other settings. I don’t want to change out speakers. Thanks

Brand new CX-5 Turbo owner. It's my first Mazda after a ton of research and I love it. 87 miles in...

Just picked up a 2024 CX-5 Turbo Premium in Deep Crystal Blue Mica. The Costco auto program netted over $3k off MSRP and the Mazda free money (0%) made this a no-brainer. Lovely car. Perfect for the commute to work as well as being a road trip machine into Arizona's high country (to get out of the heat here in Phoenix).
