I have owned a 2016.5 CX-5 (Canadian model) for one year now. I plan on keeping it for 10 years or more. I am used to having a louder stereo. Is it possible to simply leave the head alone and install a new amplifier down below somewhere and change to higher watt speakers? I do not want to monkey around with the brains of the car, just crank tunes louder. I don't mind spending up to $750 or so. Forgive me if this has been answered before.

p.s. I listen to straight forward rock and roll and softer music. Nothing with outrageous bass
