Tires
Any specific requirements for the tire? Summer, winter capable, a single year-'round tire, ...?
Thanks for the reply. I have 19" rims. I live in Vancouver, Canada. We do get the occasional snowfall. Icy conditions. More rain though. Was also thinking of just getting dedicated winter tires on steel rims for the winter and have a good all around set of all seasons for the rest of the year.
When needed for my 2019 Signature, I will replace my 19 inch OE tires with TOYO Open Country Q-T,in 225/55R19
For winter I have purchased 17 inch TOYO Observe GSI-6 LS in 225/65R17
(tires have the same outside diameter)

Exceptional tires, I think. About ~90% of the grip of the Nokian Hakkapeliitta ice+snow tires, but with a decent year-'round compound that makes them appropriate for all-year use (without having to do a second set of rims+tires). Really good, typical "all-season" grip for the spring/summer/autumn months, but with winter grip on slush, snow and ice that's nearly that of a great dedicated winter tire. Pretty good in the rain, though you'll need to watch deep water for hydroplaning risk as these aren't top-notch for water evacuation at devil-may-care speeds. I'd highly recommend them. One of the better options if considering a single tire to avoid the two sets of rims+tires thing, but where you don't want to give up much with the winter ice and snow grip. Have been through two winters and ~18mos on them, so far. Excellent.

Or a dedicated set of snow+ice tires but then a higher-performance set of all-seasons for the "off" months.

I'm running Michelin XLT A/S tires on my 2016 CX-5. I've put 50,000+ miles on them and they still have plenty of tread. Where I'm at, we get snow, but usually rain, freezing rain and the real fun one, freezing fog. As long as you don't get stupid, they grip great in all weather. I rotate every 5000 miles and they have a good 20,000 or more miles left in them.
