Default TCS/DSC Indicator Light

I live in Queensland, Australia. I bought this 2012 CX5 Mazda used car twelve months ago. It has an automatic transmission and 210k on the clock.

Today I drove over some minor bumps in the road at about 60kph. The road was dry. The TCS/DSC Indicator Light lit up for a few minutes, then went out. It wasn’t like I was losing control and the car wasn’t sliding. The gadget is always turned on.

Is the TCS/DSC Indicator Light supposed to do that. I appreciate your advice. This is the first really modern car I have owned.

This is an indicator to get your battery load tested and clean all 4 connecting areas 2 at the battery then the chassis ground and power cable at the starter.
The age of the battery even if you just bought it and had it installed is no indicator of the batteries condition.

If your battery passes then I recommend going to a service shop, mainly because the other causes require experience in checking the condition associated with reporting and controlling the TCS / DSC system

+1 on the battery test. Have a shop read the car's computer if nothing else reveals the issue. My brake light switch was failing and would intermittently flash the traction control light along the amber brake light warning. I can't tell 100% if that's your issue but it's worth a check.

Thank you for your advice. The problem seems to have corrected itself.
