Thanks for your kindness, JAMizer. When I tried to load the link it came up with an error in loading each time I tried. Still unsure what I would do next to get in correctly into the car, but I will work on this.
Appreciate your research and advice...much appreciated.

Default Confirm link

https://my.hidrive.com/share/hsodpqja.l#$/

Then select
Mazda CONNECT Firmware

Then NA N

Sorry I had to edit to fix the link.

The NA N is for North America (i assume you are from that area).

Download all, and follow the instructions. Takes 30 or so minutes.

Default So far...so good

With the most current firmware I have yet to have a SiriusXM failure. That's good.

While the infotainment system can be a bit of a challenge to get use to, after having the car for several months I like it now. The fact you can change channels and it starts at beginning of a song is a nice feature, as is the one hour replay feature.

Android Auto interfaces well too.

Hopefully the days of getting a XM Radio failure are over!

Wink Latest Infotainment Update

Hopefully today has finally fixed the Satellite Radio issues for good after 16 months. As a Bonus, Touch Screen is now allowed! Will see if the issues are gone after some time since they were always intermittent.

Arrow

Sorry, I was wrong, only works while stopped. Still better than only using the ****. It does not work with Android Auto or Waze, even when stopped.

Default Touch screen

It has always worked while stopped.

The good thing is still no Sirius XM failure for me.

Hello, I want to do this firmware update but I have never done it before, and I want to make sure I don't screw anything up. In step 9 on the PDF in the link you posted, it says to insert a "prepared USB memory stick". Do I just use a blank USB stick? Or do I have to load software onto that USB stick first? Thanks!
