I have a CX5 2016, after I turn off the engine, the Security Indicator Light flashes.

That's the first thing I did.

 

Really? Page 3-40, right side, "Arming-Disarming"

 

100% normal operation. Its telling everyone its immobilised.

Now it make sense to me.

 

My wife have a 2014 CX5 and she told me that the security indicator light is flashing when the engine is off.
Well, I do take the car one in a while and I never notice that red flashing.
However, after reading the manual and the answer here, it looks like normal LOL. My wife and I never noticed that red flashing security indicator.
I just want to say thank you to mazdaforum.com, you solved the problem (that was not a problem)
