Default Removing plastic trim for hatch mount

Hi,. I'd like to remove this piece of plastic trim from my 2018 CX-5, i need to fix a hatch mount for a ham radio antenna. Can it be popped out? I tried looking it up on the online service manual but couldn't find any reference to it.

Thanks!

Is that panel plastic or steel?

I've looked in the workshop manual, and it appears to be held on with double sided tape and a couple of clips.

Hi all, yes its plastic. That looks like the whole trim, I just need to remove the black plastic.

This is what I want to do, photo 8.

That last photo is of the previous generation CX-5. Totally different to your white or blue model shown previously.

That plastic panel is all 1 piece.

What did you end up doing to install the antenna?
