Default Plastic Removal

How do you remove the plastic that is at the bottom of the trunk where the lid closes? I'm trying to remove the side carpet. I can get the plastic tabs out but that bottom plastic piece is holding them in from what I can tell. If I can get it off, the sides should slide backwards and out, right? But, how do you remove it?

Default RE: Plastic Removal

With the hatch, you remove the bottom board/floor and plastic storage tray. Then the two plasticpush-ins on the inside of the threshold and just lift it out. The side panels are a bit of a bi*ch though, as the trim around the rear door has to be loosened/removed to get around the seat back anchor.
The sedan I'm not sure about, but how hard could it be?
