Default Rear window washer

I'm a new CX-5 owner and I'm curious: Is the window washer on the rear window supposed to 'spray' or 'trickle'? I'm asking because mine seems to just trickle a stream straight down from the top.

Is that normal?

Karl

No, it is not normal.
It sprays copious amounts of fluid but only if you have sufficient fluid in the washer tank

Blow out either the hose from the bottle end, disconnect from washer head, and see if someone can feel air or blow out the washer head and or use a paper clip and clean the nozzle out.

Compared to the front washer jets its more of a central flow than a fine spray pattern

It's the same on my 2021, it runs like a faucet...straight down.

Yeah. I'm not used to that. I mean, it works.
