Did you purchase the Mazda extended warranty? Did they tell you the Mazda extended warranty can only be purchased at the time of vehicle purchase?

TIA

Was not seeking an extended warranty, nor was one offered. Feeling is these are reliable vehicles and not even sure we will have the vehicle long enough for the factory warranty to have expired. As I posted, the dealership was refreshingly no pressure on add-ons. The way the deal was done, I saw on Mazda's website the vehicle was in-transit to Wantagh Mazda, was optioned the way I wanted and did the deal before the car reached the dealer. While possibly could have saved a couple bucks, I preferred to stay on Long Island and in the event the car needs service loaner vehicles would be available, which is not always the case if seeking service at a dealer other than where a car was purchased. Also, I still have 2 other Mazdas and always heard good things about Wantagh.

Long story short, I was at my Mazda's dealership 2 months ago and inquired about a 2022 CX30 and CX-5 - Both Turbos. They gave the price for my trade-in. Went there yesterday to get an oil change and the CX-30 had a 5k "price adjustment." The salesman said that was negotiable, so figure get it down to 2.5k - nooooooo thank you. Last time I was there the lot was full, this time - almost empty. Pure supply and demand - I get it, but again, no thank you. I didn't even ask about a CX-5.

Made a deal on a preferred AWD with west ridge Mazda in Rochester, came down a bit under sticker, offered Mazda loyalty incentive, will report back once things finalize and it comes in
