Hey guys I’m new here. Looking to buy a CX-5 in LA area. What’s the rough range of discount I can get off of the dealer’s asking price/MSRP for a 2021 model? Also, when will the 2022 model be available?

Check carsdirect.com or truecar.com for a rough idea in your area (discounts will be based on model and stock as well- GT's are much more common than GTR and Signature models so they will be easier to get a deal on). Cars are getting more scarce with the chip shortage so I understand discounts will be going away. I just bought a GTR in the Atlanta area and was given about 1700 off plus a loyalty 750 rebate. Others have reported up to 4k or more in some areas. No idea about the 22 release date.

I bought a 2021 GTR in NorCal 3 weeks ago, and received total of $4,500 off MSRP, including loyalty discount (Miata owner). I had never bought a car from this dealer before and they really surprised me.

 

The Mazda USA website says "this winter."
