How many here have had the navigation system send you on a convoluted route? Is there a setting that I missed? I have used Google Maps, but I don't always have cell phone coverage.

Does Mazda have a solution for this?

 

I haven’t seen it personally. My daughter has.

When in doubt, zoom out and see if the route makes sense.

 

Probably time for a MZD software update.

How old are your maps?

 

We travel with a Garmin NUVI just to have that second opinion, especially when in strange territory. Plus the Garmin has traffic re-route in the event of highway delays, which the Mazda Tom-Tom does not have. We must look crazy running 2 GPS, but the Garmin saved our asses a few times.
