I listen to podcasts on my cell phone through the Infotainment system on my 2021 Mazda CX-5. There are times when I want to pause the playback, and thought it would easier to do this with the car's volume **** instead of reaching over to my phone and pausing it there. However, every time I have done this, it only stays paused about 15 seconds and then automatically starts playing again. Is there a way to fix this?

This is some of what the manual says in the section about the volume ****:Press the volume **** to mute/pause the audio. Press the **** again to resume.

If you press the volume **** to mute an audio source which can be paused, such as Apple CarPlay™, USB audio, or Bluetooth® audio, while it is playing, the song playback pauses. Press the volume **** again to cancel the mute and the pause at the same time.
