If there is other dealer in your town you may visit and ask to take a test drive with a technician. Hope you can duplicate at some point. Drive as much as needed `till you both can hear it.
I know it can be very frustrating as they might be like "What do you talk about?" as they cannot hear it ... anyway, you can many times a day, right. Just the car seems like does not cooperate at the time while in service, unfortunately. The problem is that it occurs randomly, you never know the exact time, the situation. They close the case, anyway the problem is still yours. This was my bad experience at the first dealer.
Never had such a problem with any car so far... no matter old/ new.
I do not understand how could be the same part defective twice...
I know. It is soooo annoying as I never had this kind of problem over 7 cars I have previously owned. A month old car making this kind of noise?
I do hope it rather makes the noise consistently so I can complain to the dealer. It even feels like this car is fooling me.
And thank you for the advise. I have only visited the dealer where I purchased my vehicle, expecting that they will pay more attention to this but I guess it was not the case. Keep me posted!

Have not noticed it in our car, but we had it for two weeks only. I will keep an eye (or better an ear) on it.

I also have this squeaky steering on my brand new 2018 cx5!!

Mazda need to be informed about this. Everyone with issue write to their customer service.
