Default New Windshield, Calibration

2017 CX-5 windshield had to be replaced. Blind spot and lane change will not calibrate. Insurance company uses Safelite who checked fuses etc.without success. Any body else have a similar problem? Safelite is stumped for now. HUD etc. working OK. Before getting between the insurance company, Safelite and Mazda is there anything overlooked?

Have you had a Mazda dealer try and diagnose the problem?

Any time the Front Sensing Camera (FSC) is removed & refitted, it requires calibrating using Mazda's diagnostic laptop - MMDS. It will need either a dynamic or static calibration.

Thank you for tour interest, The Mazda dealer found that the front camera was not installed properly when the windshield was replaced.

I'm glad you got the problem solved. And relatively easily, electronics can be nightmares.

FWIW, the local shop here never _unplugged_ the electronics for this very reason.
