I tried posting an intro thread in the main New Member section but it never showed up so figured I should just post a quick intro here. Name's Mike from Chicago and I picked up the new Grand Touring Reserve on Friday. Traded in my wife's 2010 Mazda3 and got a great deal on the trade...after loyalty cash, they gave us $5K for a car with under 72K miles that my wife bought new 10 years ago for $12K. Definitely miss driving a manual but the new car is super comfortable and was pleasantly surprised with the minimal lag in boost.

Here was the old car - 2010 with upgraded suspension on Koni Yellows and small drop via Eibach Pro-Kit sitting on 18" Mazdaspeed3 wheels:


New ride: GTR...waiting on roof rails to be delivered for me to install and researching crossbars (likely go with Thule Aeroblades). May upgrade the exhaust to axle-back corksport and get some breathing mods to open up a bit:
