What was your first impression when the new 3 was revealed? And when should I trade in my 2008 Mazda 3???

The first thing I thought was Saturn Sky!

When are you going to buy it? I guess since it is coming out next year in October, the best thing to do is to sell my 3 now and buy the new one when it comes out. I'm super excited. I'm kind of like a fanboy right now; I love how it looks, but I need to find out more and really think about how I feel about it before I buy it. Interior photos would be nice too....Maybe I'll just upgrade to a 6...who knows...what are you guys gonna do?

Wow. it sure does. I like it even less now. Thanks. I'd wait a full model year before buying a completely redesigned car.

 

Those tailights on the new 3 are hideous. It looks like something they would do with a lincoln. I do like the looks of those SKYs though.

 

Yeah, the first thing I thought when I saw the new 3 was "Wait...where have I seen this before?...and after some careful deliberation...I was like...wow..that's the Saturn Sky! I'm not sure if I like it...and the interior doesn't look all that good either...I'm actually kind of disappointed

 

I personally don't think it looks like the sky at all but that's just me. And I'll get it, if and when they come out with a speed sedan version.

 

Won't buy it. Hideous. Late model Proteges or first-gen 3's for me.

Or a Sky REDLINE. That would rock.

 

Eh...Sky Redlines are pretty nice, but theres a guy who comes here that owns one with a Corvette Mallett V8!! Talk about power, probably too much...sure was a blast to drive though! I'm not sure why he did it, but the guys loaded...he also has a Miata, Shelby Mustang, and a new gen. Mustang, not sure which one.

Im not impressed with the new gen M3 pics. I did see some interior pic's (although im not sure if they were official) and the interior does seem very sleek... even nicer (in my opinion) in comparison w the older M3's. Anyways.... I jsut bought a 09 M3 and I was relaly debating the fact that I should maybe wait for the new gen M3 but I came to the conclusion that I like the older M3 better (from what i've seen so far) and if I would wait untill summer 09 to get the new m3 I might be dissapointed... all this to say that I am very pleased with my new purchase!

 

I wont be buying one any time soon, if quite a while from now.

The next car I plan to buy is a 2014 50th Anniversary Mustang GT, so the new 3 will be a no go for me, lol. That's why I have the 2008 Mazda3 I have now lol.
