I'm also new to Mazda. I just purchased a 2016 CX-5 GT, and after looking at accesories, I found the Maxpider floor mats are superior to both OEM AND WeatherTech products. They offer a cargo mat too, but he OEM is fine for me. I also got the cargo cover and bumper guard.

We bought a 2016 GT fully loaded yesterday, and as part of the process, we got them to give us a 10% discount on accessories, so we got the rubber floor mats, cargo mat and cargo screen. All told it was about $350 for everything. The bumper guard was already installed on the vehicle from the factory... Love this car, and can't wait to put some miles on it!

I just got my CX-5 2 weeks ago, and the first thing I did was order WeatherTech floor mats and wind deflectors. I need the deep mats to catch the Florida sand, and the wind deflectors allow me to keep my windows cracked in the hot Florida sun without worrying about any rain getting in. Also, keeping the windows cracked drops the temp inside a good 10 degrees or so.

I live in Florida also and had them on an Element and found them very useful. I just purchased a new CX-5 and am considering them for it. Did you do both front and back? Factory or aftermarket (Weatherflectors?).

If possible, could you post pic or 2?

Thanks.
