Question Need Advice - Purchasing 2019 CX5

My local dealer has a 2019 CX-5 with 9,500 miles on it. Color is Deep Blue and no premium package.

I negotiated selling price to be $26,988.00.

They will buyout my Rav4 lease and i'm getting $500 equity from that. Buyout is $17,500 and they are offering to take care for $18,000. It has about 34,000 miles on it and in really good condition. It's an LE so it has similar options aside from leather and Bose radio.

Also offering extended warranty for $2,900 for term of loan which is 72 months. Gap would be $800.00

Im struggling because with Covid and it's the unknowns there, I'm thinking the more financial sound thing is to buyout the RAV4. BUT I could be persuaded if this is a good deal.

I did look around online and I do see the same model/trim/year and 1,000 miles less car but in a light grey for $23,000. Why the difference there? it's only 61miles away so I dont think location? Color?

Any advice would help me out.

Welcome to the forum. I'm no financial guy but a few thoughts/suggestions.

What model CX-5? That's important to know as there is a huge gap between the top and lower trim levels. Without knowing that, it's hard to offer valid opinions.
What is the condition of the 2019? Have they given you a CARFAX report?
I would check a few more sources for prices/value of that car. Kelly Blue Book, Consumer Reports are good places to start.
I would guess the difference between the car the dealer is offering and the other one might be the condition - maybe dents and scratches, etc.
Money wise, I'm betting the more sound financial thing to do would be to buy out your Toyota - and POSSIBLY look into an extended warranty. If you should perchance go this route, be careful what warranty company you choose.

Now, if I that were me and I was intent on getting a CX-5. I save up a little more and buy a 2021 model.

Hopefully, other better informed members will chime in.

I am assuming you are looking at a Grand Touring model since you said it had leather and the Bose stereo. Is it AWD? 27k selling is before taxes?
