Default Mazda CX-5 2.2 DE Active RPM Stuck

Hi All,

Wonder if anyone has experienced this issue before.

I have a Mazda CX-5 2.2 DE Active 2016 (FWD)

When I accelerate full in 3rd or 4th gear the RPM just does not go past 4000, sometimes 4500. I just hangs there. and does not want to accelerate any further.

This is the ECU reading I get

I took the car to Mazda and they say they had to do a SW upgrade.
Got the car back and about 2 weeks later when I did need to accelerate full the issued occurred again. It does not happen all the time though.

Any advice or reasoning would be much appreciated.
