Default Inside door locks

For some reason I'm unable to unlock the doors from the inside. The lock works but not unlock. If I exit the car the doors lock and unlock as they should. Any ideas are appreciated. TIA

Welcome to the forum

When asking for help it is always a good idea to at least (minimum) the trim and year of your Mazda

Thanks Lobstah,
I've owned the car since it was new. This problem just started the other day.

Try going through all the door lock/unlock procedures.
You may have accidentally created scenario that wasn't on before.
A vehicle and/or FOB battery not at optimal operating charge can also cause all types of issues.

If you have a sunroof, make sure your drain hoses are not getting clogged and backing up water or moisture into the cabin, or kick panel locations. Most of these Mazda sunroofs have a front and a rear drain hose that channels the water that gets in around the sunroof glass, through the body and out the floor boards. These drains will get clogged if you park the vehicle outside a lot. Dirt & debris will eventually cause the drain tubes/hoses to clog up, usually at the lower ends of the tubes/hoses. If they are clogged, moisture can get into normally dry areas of the vehicle, and can affect things like the Body Control Modules.......and then your electronic stuff doesn't work like it should!
