I'd like to make my CarPlay audio volume louder while using directions from Maps. Not sure how to increase the volume. If I crank the volume control for my radio way up, it doesn't change the CarPlay volume.
How do I change the CarPlay audio volume on my CX-5?

 

With AA, you have to adjust the volume of the directions while it's talking. If you change the volume while music is playing, it only increases that level. I assume CP is the same.

 

Thank you. That turns out to be exactly right. To change the audio volume on CarPlay, you make the adjustment WHILE CarPlay is speaking. If you adust the adio volume while it is not speaking, the CarPlay volume won't change.
