Infotainment screen goes blank each morning
Anyone else notice this? Each morning since taking delivery of my 2024 CX-5 Premium Plus the screen goes blank after I reverse out of the driveway. Camera displays fine while in reverse but when I put in drive the screen is blank. I can tell it's on because I can see the backlight is on.
Seems to be a bug but there are no updates available when I check.
I noticed the same issue with a CX-30 I test drove but I only drove that model once.

Crazy stuff.
Any computer system, no matter where it is, will look at whatever is plugged into it during "startup".
Anything that is not in the boot-up sequence has potential to cause delays.
You and your hardware (display screen) may or may not notice those delays as it is totally dependent on your computer system and its operating software.
And the same goes for what peripheral hardware you've plugged into it.

I never have any "active" hardware plugged into any of my vehicles on start-up.
I don't even turn the peripheral hardware on my home computers on until I actually use it, and I leave all my computers running 24/7.
As we all know some hardware and its programming can adversely impact CPU performance.
