Hi - New 2016 CX5 owner trying to become familiar with all the features ... can't figure out how to activate the heated side mirrors. Do they automatically heat when the heat inside the vehicle is turned on? Can't find any info in the owners manual.

See page 5-11 in the manual.
"Windshield defroster switch
Press the switch to defrost the windshield
and front door windows."

 

If you own a 2106 GT version of the CX-5, pressing the rear defroster automatically activates the heated side mirrors...although elusive, all GT VERSIONS come standard with headed mirrors...see page 4-46 in the owners manual...hope this helps!
