Yes a lot of peple forget that the move is towards energy conservation. So what you all think we get solar panels on our houses to fuel EV's. rolmao.
Last thing I want to wait in line for a charge. Or worse if cyber attack dumps an EMP and strands me in my EV. No thank you. I will stick with gas or LPG run engines and a few carefully stored batteries. I leave one of my motorcycles disconnect from the battery and a spare battery that is ...lets say EMP protected so I would always have accesses to running transportation in most any weird happening so to say!

How did this thread get so off topic?

I am supposed to talk about how great a E20 mixture makes my CX-5 run.

You guys are supposed to tell me how it doesn't work, and that I will blow up my catalytic converter.

An EMP will effectively kill any modern electrical components like vehicle electronics.
The electronic gas pumps and credit card readers won't work either.
No one can use cash because without the electronic registers working no one can make change.
Plus, with no cell phones, the majority of people would just immediately fall over dead in their tracks
This when a sail/rowboat, bicycle or horse comes back into play.

Wind, solar, tidal, have yet to be fully tapped and eventually we will have fusion reactors.
The main goal is to reduce emissions, meaning powerplants could still run on fossil fuels.
They can do so with near zero emissions but only if they are mandated to do so.
The problem most countries have is the inability to control/inspect hundreds of billions of individual fossil fuel engines currently out there which pollute at an ever-increasing rate each day they run and get older.
Eventually we will run out of fossil fuels, food, fresh clean water. But on the bright side, a new coronavirus variant or asteroid to get us long before that
No matter what we do the sun will turn to a red giant and reduce us to a cinder in few billion years.
Now that is some real Horsepower or would that be Solpower?

I lied, the car won't burn out across the entire intersection while on E20. I turned off traction control, floored it from a stop, and it spun the tires halfway across the intersection, and traction control came on and pulled power, then started spinning the tires again.

Anyone know how to turn traction control off, other then flipping the computer over?

Yes! But you need to get something like Versa Tune. Then you can turn off most any system you want. Except the seat belt chime! lol

VersaTuner

Since I am obviously addicted to E20 like a heroin addict. The best we can hope for is harm reduction, like how San Fancisco gives out new needles.

So it seems like allot of turbo bois (WRX, Speed 3) who run straight E85 change the oil more often and go up one oil weight.

My question is, can you run a European Car formula synthetic 5W40 in a 2.5 NA skyactiv?

What would be a recommended oil for my E20 harm reduction program?

I run oil that fits what driving style I will be doing and what the ambient engine operating temperatures will be. I run full synthetic. I have run various viscosities with little to no effect on power and my oil analysis does not indicate any concerns. I also change my oil and filter @ 3 k miles.
Running full methanol or LPG or LPG augmentation with gas in a street engine you would do the same.

If the engine is sound then you should be able to go 5-7 k miles as has been suggested by Back Oil Labs to me. There is no reason why those you posted need to change their oil as indicated if thier engine are in good health with 3% or less leak down and there any empirical data (that I am aware of) to support bumping the viscosity from whatever the normal use is because of the type of fuel they are using?
