Front speakers for Mazda 2015 CX5 with Bose Factory System
I have a 2015 Mazda CX5 with factory bose sound system. The front passenger side speaker was torn so I got a kicker css65 6.5' component speaker system so replace the speakers and tweeters. Now after installation, the audio sounds really bad. All the vocals plus beats are coming from the tweeters and middle dash speaker and all the door speakers are only working as a subwoofer for bass. I've checked the settings and it doesn't change anything. Any idea why that may be?
The Bose amplification system sends specific ohms to the speakers.
I'm not certain what the door speakers are, I believe they are 2-ohm resistance.
As Cali said using any speaker that is not properly matched will not sound right and it could potentially harm the amplifier if it hasn't already.

the speakers up on the dash corners are 3.5 in tweeters and the lower door speaker size from bose is 6.5 inches the lower door speaker acts as a woofer so the bose amp sends only high frequencies to the tweeters so the provide the vocals and the the door speaker acts as a mid bass its sorta a component system from bose , that's why your aftermarket speakers sound like crap
