Default Front radar sensor battle

Been battling a front radar sensor in a 2017 CX5 Grand for about 6 months. It started with 2 occasions where the vehicle hit the brakes for no real reason. That, was in the fall. By Oct I got the warning light on the desk saying the radar malfunction and the SCB were disabled.
cleaned everything...grill, window, bumpers, etc. Filled brake fluid, reset everything...no change. Read a bunch of posts but didn't find a path. Bought a used sensor and swapped them out last weekend...no change.
I'm at a loss now. I called our local dealer and they said no technical bulletins. Anyone have some advice on next steps?

Yah it could just need to be calibrated. I know that places like Safelite do it. Usually dealers will send you to a third party for getting the radar calibrated, unless you're lucky and they do it there.
