Default Exhaust and carbon monoxide poisoing

I have a 21 CX5 and it has a very strong exhaust odor. The ac is super loud and when I am in it I get dizzy and like I cant breath. Anyone else have this issue?

That is a first as far as I know. Especially on a brand new car. I would get it to the dealer immediately.

I have no problem and I have not hear of anyone else having an issue. Take the car to your dealer.

Very unlikely you will be poisoned unless the exhaust is piped directly inside your cab with the windows up.

Still, if you're getting a faint odor coming into your AC vents, 1 of 3 things is happening:
1. If the car is VERY new, factory greases, oils, etc. might still be burning off inside the engine bay, which is completely normal for the first few months.
2. There is a factory-installed gasket that was installed incorrectly at the heads or exhaust flanges, perhaps a small stream of exhaust is leaking up near the exhaust manifold.
3. Some fluid is dripping onto something hot. Check for factory hose leaks.

The Skyactiv Engine is kind of loud, particularly because of the GDI system, timing-retard (for quick warmup), and a noisy timing chain. It's unlikely a mechanic will be able to hear the leak, they will probably have to feel for air escaping at each flange and sensor.

My suggestion. Before you bring it in, warm it up, get it on the highway, and give it a good 'ol Italian Tune-Up (Bury your foot and drive the **** out of it). A good heat cycle will burn off anything that might have come from the factory.

May be wise for now to keep a battery CO Alarm inside the cabin to confirm your suspicions.

Good idea, it could provide peace of mind even if there's no problem.
