Thanks, Bobm. Pretty pricey stuff, so I think I'll stick with Rain-X which has served me well over many years and, more or less, promises the same, but is typically good for only 60-90 days.

To-wit:

I always consider most detail products except those that "claim" to seal automotive glass? If there were my friends at NASA and Aero-Jet have never seen them. lol I tend to look at the ingredients or MSDS info and find the answers to a lot of questions about a products potential performance or at least a tall tail of information a distributor may be implying .hehehehe! The only product that physically polishes the surface of glass and really more cleans it back to production finish but not filling damage like pitting from sand and dirt is powdered rice hulls. But lots of luck finding anyone selling this product anymore.
I might add "clay bars are really "old school" now and a Nano Skin is way better and if you drop it like happens often with clay bars you don't have to throw it away.

 

Well, you are right on the techy side about actually "polishing" glass - but what the consumer glass "polishes" do is help remove some road film, heavy dust and such, making a smoother surface. They work. Yeah, I have a bunch of good clay bars, so I didn't see the need to go modern.


Talk about old school - I actually remember using this old relic in my parent's house.
