Default drivers electric seat stuck on one side

After getting the vehicle from a parking garage, the seat won't move forward on one side and it is all the way back. had to drive all the way home with a crooked seat

The drive cable would of snapped. You can get replacements from Mazda.

ajl, the creator of this post hasn't returned since Aug 2022.

You will need to see if its the short cable or long cable at fault.

If you are very mechanically minded, you can get under the seat and manually wind the cogs to move the seat into position so you can access the seat mount bolts. Remove the seat from the vehicle & replace the broken drive cable.
