Cylinder deactivation
People with those cars are getting the best scenario since they can bank on the reliabilty without the EPA crap. Granted Mazda's cylinder deactivation is the best and smoothest I've ever driven with great reliability, I'd rather not have it.
Mine is so smooth I didn't even know it had cylinder deactivation. I was wondering how I was getting better fuel economy out of my CX 5 than I was out of my my previous car, a VW Beetle.
