Angry Engine Oil level too high as well.

I am also having the issue with engine oil too high. Came on after oil change with 1100 miles on the oil. Refused to take the car back without changing oil. Got a sample of the oil and sent it for analysis, came back the oil is contaminated and should be changed (as I expected it would) but that had already been done. Mazda had the dealer put an OBDII recorder on the car, put 1000 miles on it, they took it off yesterday. Now it has to go to Japan, they changed the oil yet again. 3700 miles on my car, it has had 3 oil changes. Questioning if Mazda knows what is wrong and questioning if I should keep the car.

JWW10, what is your average trip length? Do you do mostly round town / short trips or a lot of highway/freeway driving?

Your driving habit ( not your fault) is a big problem/cause of your issues. A diesel powered vehicle is the wrong fuel for you.

Question high oil level warning light

I saw this happening a lot in Australia (after I purchased) and am wondering if anyone is experiencing this in the US and if the dealer has given any resolutions. Or if anyone has any advice?
Marjie, I just purchased a certified pre-owned 2019 Mazda CX5 Diesel one month ago and the exact same thing has happened to me. This car has 5,000 miles on it and not driven daily. I just read the threads and I guess add me to the list as I was going to take it in as it is still under warranty. I am wondering if this is why I got such a good deal on it. I really love this car and am hoping there is a fix for it. If anyone has any additional thoughts I am open for suggestions.

Hello, yesterday I displayed the same message. The dealership says that I have to take it and change the oil (the cost of the oil change is mine) and it is due to a bad handling of the vehicle, in a few words I don't know how to handle it. Other brands of diesel vehicles do not have the same problem ...... A possible solution is to remove the part of the particle filter, configure the computer and never more problems for the life of the CX-5. but I find a big problem for the brand not to be responsible for the top version of the CX5 model.
