Help Please, my CX5 Sport Nav 2017 Key has a new battery and flashes but will not be recognised by the vehicle, the spare key works fine, Any ideas please?

 

Have you tried starting the vehicle by pressing your remote against the start button?

 

New battery bad? Unusual but not unheard of.

New battery and changed the battery from the working key, no luck at all.

 

Thank You, no effect. Lucky my spare key is working at the moment and the car is still under warranty so a call to Mark at Windsors of Walasey is on the cards,

 

Good news, spoke to Mark at Windors and he suspected that both my original batteries and the new one were probably a little low on voltage. I purchased another new battery and that worked immediately.
So many thanks for your help, both replies were in fact correct but I dis not suspect three duff batteries, Regards John B
