Default CX5 2.2 Skyactive Diesel Oil Data Reset

New here, so sorry for delving into asking for help straightaway.

Just bought a late 2014 cx5 150 diesel. I have changed the oil, but I can't seem to be able to reset the oil data in the ecu.

I have found the service reset counter in the info/service menu and reset that back to 12,500 miles but I believe this is not the ecu reset that is required.

I do have an xtool 400 pro, which is usually very good with all ecu funtions, but even though the menue for the oil data is there, it is unable to reset it.

I have tried the ignition on whilst depressing the acccelerator and the brake pedal for 20 secs.
I have also tried holding the mileage reset after pressing the start button twice, and another variation on this method too.

From one of the service manual pages, I note that when trying the first method above, the "Fuel in Oil" light should illuminate, but it seems that I dont have this light? when doing the system test by holding the trip reset button when the ignition is turned on, all the dash lights illuminate, but there is no Fuel in OIl light.

Any suggestions on how to manually reset the oil data?

Thanks in advance for the help.
