Anyone have issue with Cruise Control icon not turning off, despite pressing CANCEL button twice or long push?
Sent image to local dealer requesting they raise with MAZDA UK Technical.
I see having to look around instead of reading it in your "help me" first response that is a 2025. You are still under warranty so any "tricks, hacks or DIY information may cause issues that could affect your warranty. Aside from having your battery load tested and assuming you took the time to read and learn about your new Mazda from the owner's manual then I suggest you go your local Mazda dealership. This way it will get corrected and also added to your service information history should it happen in the future.
I don't think this fit any dealership with going directly to Mazda Corp and could actually delay a service resolve for doing that? You can't always ask for the supervisor in any situation in life unless you are prepared for the red tape and delayed actions.
Ever wonder why when on the phone and you ask for a manager or supervisor because you feel the person you are talking to is not giving you what you feel is your way to take of something and it seems to take them a while to answer the line .
The local dealership changed hands in March, and they don't have much experience of Mazda's
as it was primarliy a Stelantis outlet.
Took on a couple of tecs from previous Mazda dealership.
They have failed to update s/ware* that MAZDA UK Technical say I need, as apparently they don't
have [yet] the necessary hardware. *Relating to my speed camera warnings not working visually/audibly, which dealership said related to map SD.
[From Mazda UK "To clarify, the required update is not related to the maps or SD card. It is specifically for the CMU (Control Module Unit). This means the update Eden attempted would not have been effective. As Mazda UK is not a repairer, we are unable to install this update — it can only be completed at a Mazda dealership."]
Odometer reading in image. Car detail in my signature
ya... ok then why don't you go read mine my signature...what I didn't state is 30+ year as such who has time to have to read all this to help a member. and this morning I was on my cell phone so it is a slightly different format then Ipad or PC.
So if you don't give what I need to help you good luck getting the best information possible on any forum.
As for you response on who worked on your Mazda.... basically, any person that is trained and specifically as an Automotive Diagnostic technician does not need to be restricted to any specific platform. Unless they choose to. I "choose" not to work on diesels but more the qualified to do so.
I choose to help members that give the best information, so I don't always feel like or have time weeding through BS and DIY as well less then accurate service reporting from service shops they have been to?
many dealership that change their business because of contract changes will often get a universal service program like ALLData that will enable them to find most all information having to do with just about any vehicle manufactured in most countries .
Another one of your many condescending posts; seems to be a habit.
Perhaps you have zero self awareness!
see red!
Dude you started off your first response with very little information and expected members to look beyond your response to find out about you by reading your signature? wtf lol Get real! Then snarky to me when I asked for it. So, what did you expect me to be polite at that point rolmao.
Yet I still gave you good information that if you used it could be helpful to at least finding a better service shop or dealership?
I can see with you the best way to help you is I recommend you get one of these and ask it the question you need help with!

BTW I am an authorized independent warranty service Technician for Mazda and a couple other auto manufactures so I well aware of PIA customers having to read their complaints and weeding through the animated narratives to find the root of issues and correct them.
I am soooo glad you don't live near me.... rolmao
Is this an April Fool's joke?
If not, check for a faulty brake switch, which is often the cause.
Other than that, it will require the proper tools to diagnose all the potential issue(s).
