Cruise control over ride
#2
Yep, sure can. Press the Home button, scroll to Settings, then Safety Settings, then Driver Assistance System. The top of the resulting list ought to be Mazda Radar Cruise Control, with a tick against it. Click to uncheck it. You’re now on standard cruise control.
I understand that the CX5 can be switched from adaptive to standard cruise control from the buttons on the steering wheel, so bypassing the additional faffing about with iConnect. I tried the CX5 method, but it doesn’t work - Mazda has clearly decided that we CX 30 owners needs much more hand holding and nannying.
