Dude please in the future don't get so dramatic.... it does not help. lol
I should mention the AUTO PARTS RECYLCLERS many are owned by corporations in the Automotive industry and even belong to nationwide parts finding groups all connected together have not been called or like being called "junk Yards? for about 4 or more decades.

I had to look for a rebuilt ECU unit for a customer today and while there .......Sassy your ECU is available through at least 3 rebuilders that I use in the shop. You just need to look on line and start contacting a few of them. The better ones do require your VIN and other information to get the correct one.

Just a suggestion. Maybe list the names of the 3 rebuilders to make it easier for them? No secret to know who they are, right? They are in business to make money selling parts - I would assume...

Are there so many Mazda computers failing that Mazda was unprepared for the number of cars needing new ones? It seems unbelievable that Mazda should expect customers to wait months to have their cars repaired. Apparently, there has been no recall or any provision to accommodate customers.
Does anyone know of any action being taken on the part of customers?
What action? It is likely no fault of Mazda, they just can't get them made quick enough. I doubt it is a conspiracy...

I don’t believe I implied it was a conspiracy. Apparently, this is not a supply chain issue. Mazda is aware of the issue and the number of customers affected by it. The part we are all waiting for is actually a new, upgraded computer developed to solve the problem. That is the reason for the delay. So maybe it will become a recall.

You make it sound as if Mazda is in full control of the issue. Who knows? Maybe it came on suddenly and they were overwhelmed? I'm sure they will get it taken care of, but it may not be at the speed everyone wants. Today is a world of instant gratification and when things take time many don't seem to understand.
