CarPlay losing connectivity

Default CarPlay losing connectivity

Hello. Looking to get some advice on an issue I’m having with CarPlay. I recently installed the module and wires in our 2018 CX5.

The phone connects to the unit fine and CarPlay starts up, however, after a short time maybe 10 minutes it will disconnect. By unplugging the cable and plugging it back in it will reconnect.

I reset the Infotainment system back to the fault and reset my network settings on the iPhone. Additionally changed the lightning cable.

The OS version on the phone is 14.5.

Try disconnecting Bluetooth from phone to car, it fixed my issues with Carplay

Posted about this today on a different thread but mine has stopped doing that since I cleaned out the iphone's lightning port with one of these:
