It could've been. I've driven through torrential rainstorms with similar conditions to a car wash and I've not noticed a leak. I have no stains or anything. Probably nothing to worry about (hopefully).

In certain weather conditions and heater/AC in use you can get the same type of momentary condensation on the sun/moon roof as you can sometimes see on the inside of the windshield.
It's not common, especially if the cover is closed, but it can happen.
