I think I paid $45 for the card I got from NavKing off ebay. Mazda OEM, it appears. Mazda Toolkit registered it and updated it fine. You have to drive the car 62 (?) miles for it to sync with the car VIN before updating. All functions work fine, including traffic sign display and alerts if exceeding the posted speed limit.

One thing that might be a good idea is to diskcopy the card to another card, so that if it goes bad, you can replace it. I did this with my 2014 which allowed me to replace the card when it went bad with an uncorrectable disk error a couple of years later.

Good advice, been meaning to do this for a while. May be a New Years resolution.
