I’m soon to be buying my first Mazda. I’ve centered my eyes on 2016 CX5.

Took it for a drive yesterday and felt real good. Before I commit, I’m looking for your advice on specific things that I should be asking for this type of car with the year and kilometres on. K’s are a bit high for my preference but from what I’ve read they are very reliable.

I have the 2016 CX-5GT. Four years and 35,000 miles. I think it's one of the best. After '16, they started fooling around with stuff that didn't need to be improved. This is a keeper! I follow used car ads in my area, and I think you should be able to find a low-mileage one.

I have used this reference for over 10 years when buying and selling numerous vehicles.

In Saskatoon in February this year I could not find a used CX-5 with low kilometres at any price (everything had over 100,000 km) so I bit the bullet and purchased a new 2019 Signature at the dealer lot. More cash$ than I intended to spend but I believe good value in an intended long term ownership.
