Wow! Really?

Of course, I read AND comprehended what you wrote above.
But when you show us a pic, that CLEARLY shows that something splashed up into your engine compartment, but you say that's impossible? What do you want us to tell you?
See if you can comprehend this,

Don't let the door hit you on your way out.

Banned on July 9th. Had already received warnings in the past for antagonizing other members and received a final warning after one member decided to leave the forum after an interaction with Conrad 16.5. Things were ok for a while until that incident on the 9th, when he was antagonizing another member yet again. We posted warnings in the thread again, and he ignored them twice, which led to the ban.

Conrad 16.5 has been permanently banned for blatantly ignoring Site Rules as well as a past final warning.
Wow, that all looks pretty bad and most certainly paints me in a poor light. Without context, I'm a major ******* and I'll admit that I can be, just ask my wife. I'd look MUCH better in context but I don't care enough to post any of that crap. Yall want to see it, you know where to find it.

I'm an *** but check it out, I'm certainly not the biggest *** on this here forum.

But you couldn't leave it at that, which is the definitive reason for your own self-description.
I was talking about the context of the ENTIRE thread in question, not just the one post of mine.

Whatever...

The Duffy Settlement was simply the exact wording a SETTLEMENT . Many of these type Law suits are started by an attorney or law firm in hopes of attacking enough participants that it makes it worth their while.
Reading the complete information regarding this case IMHO is one of those. But hey read the "complete" court filing yourself. Its long and boring and really does not absolutely point to Mazda as the bad auto manufacture? Maybe that's we they are called settlements ?
There is also this????

LOL

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE COURT TO INQUIRE ABOUT THIS SETTLEMENT OR THE CLAIM PROCESS.

But the Law firm does want you to do this. LOLVisit this website often to get the most up-to-date information.

I called them direct and started to ask basic question and they dodged almost every question I asked. maybe some of you should call , perhaps have better luck asking and getting information? am

Well for one you didn't read the info about it. You are late to that party. Your Mazda does not apply and will no longer be covered by that settlement. At this point it would be up to the dealership and if you purchased the Mazda NEW from them if they will do a courtesy for you if they deem it is in that category of what the settlement was covering? But don't count on it because it would be the total cost of the dealership to which they would not get reimbursed from Mazda.
And for other arguing or debating class action suits on a forum like this unless you are a participant of such class action then it really is pointless and more of a negative towards the auto manufacture because you not being included will not see all the case information .

Basic's of a settlement towards any Auto manufacture:
First seek advice from an attorney!

when a settlement is resolved against an automanufacture does that prove they were in the wrong

A settlement against an automanufacture does not automatically prove that they were in the wrong. The outcome of a settlement is often a result of negotiation and may not reflect the manufacturer's fault.

Settlement is much like if you sue an individual in small claims court and ask for arbitration. You talk to who you are Sueing and attempt to come up with an off to settle which if arrived at an agreement it is a "SETTLEMNT". The court then closes the case. No other record other than the 2 parties decided not to go to trial or have a judge or commissioner of the court decide the case for them.

Oh I'm not late. I am a claimant, had the repair done on our own dime and submitted the proper claim paperwork for out-of-pocket expenses. Website states the hearing was held on 7/28 but website has no recent info. FAQ states "Please be patient and check the Home Page for updates." I'm not blaming the dealer all (but they would not perform a courtesy repair).
