Already in the process. Have submitted the claim to Mazda USA and been assigned a specialspecialist. .

That is unfortunate, as I really liked my CX-5 minus all the issues. I bought the Carbon Edition and love the color, feel, and room of it. I did not get the turbo so of course it lacked in power coming from a BMW however, the CX-5 was still a good vehicle outside of the issues. I really wish there was something they could have done to fix it. That is why I came to the forums to see if there were any ideas that they might not have had yet.

No complaints
2020 CX-5 GTR 30,000 miles, no complaints. I knew what i was getting into. It was very quiet, but I wanted it quieter, so I installed some sound dampening. The seats were fine, but I wanted a more custom fit, so I had a shop modify the bolsters to perfection. I have no problem sacrificing minor driving distance and mpg for a very fun to drive turbo. If the vehicle was absolutely perfect, I wouldn't have the enjoyment and satisfaction of adding my tweeks to make it mine! Thanks to this forum, I have great suggestions for upgrading parts as it becomes necessary i.e. tires, brakes battery, etc.

SO, let me ask you this, my 2023 CX5 purchased in January of 23 has had this issue with the monitoring systems getting blocked and malfunctioning. I have taken it to be repaired 5 times over the course of a year. No one can figure out what the issue is. I also had to have both headlights replaced at 6 months as well as the seatbelt tensioner and the aigbag was throwing a code. What would you say could be the issue? The warnings come on saying BSM system blocked and at other times that the stop and go sensor is malfunctioning or the camera is blocked. I have over 50 photos now of the issues and that is not every instance as sometimes it is not safe for me to take a picture at the time it is happening. No debris, and cannot seem to cause the issue to be duplicated on purpose. Different times of day, rain or shine, different mileage in between occurrences. At one point all four of the monitoring system sensors were malfunctioning. .
(PS - this is my first post - hi all).

Hey there - sorry to hear about this issue. This is a long shot, but by any chance have you ever replaced your windscreen on your CX5? Apparently there’s a camera near the rear view mirror that needs to be recalibrated after a windscreen replacement. I suspect this camera is part of the SkyActive system, which does all the adaptive cruise magic etc etc. Anyhoo - I only found out about this because we had to have ours replaced on my 2021 Carbon. The shop that did the work (not a dealer) knew all about it and it worked fine afterward. Just a thought. Good luck getting yours sorted out - these are amazing vehicles. Love mine.

see now that is strange… dealerships and we will just talk about Mazda are required for any warranty work to make detailed service orders. Maybe ask for the permeant service record information and read it . What you likely got was the partial writer and not the full finalized work order.
But I do understand you not sure because there are very few people that actually read there completed finish service invoice .
don’t really want to debate this …if you feel like posting yours that would be all that is needed . You can mark out personal information .
