Auto-hold every time I start

Thanks for the quick reply! I'm asking about brake auto-hold, whereby the car stays stopped when you come to a stop, not he emergency parking brake that is actuated by the little lever-button. My car has the auto-hold feature and it is a simple button press to enable it.

So yours also will hold the car in position when stopped if you take your foot off the brake? Without pressing any buttons?

My car has no button to turn on/turn off this feature. It's on all the time as far as I can determine.

That isn't what the OP is asking about. The current gen has a feature where by when the button "AUTO HOLD" is activated, you can come to a stop, say at a red light, and take your foot off the brake as you sit there. The car won't move until you press the accelerator.
