Another upgrade for my 2019 GT Reserve
So I've chronicled here some of my upgrades like a CorkSport oil catch can, MAZDA roof racks, trunk privacy cover, lighted door sill plates, Chinese sourced interior trim (amazingly good quality) and now a CorkSport replacement boost hose which is on its way.
I decided the entire CorkSport turbo intercooler and pipes upgrade just was not worth the expense of materials and installation, especially since I would need to remove the black powder coating on the CS intercooler to make it more efficient. So the stiff boost hose is likely my last engine upgrade. Here's hoping it will give me a bit more throttle responsiveness, especially here in Las Vegas' roasting hot summers.
OK, now for the naysayers' responses. Can't wait to hear how they will unequivocally state that I've wasted my money on yet another CS ripoff.
BTW, still enjoying the extra power from using 1/4 to 1/3 tank of 100 octane gas mixed with 91 octane "premium" fuel. MAZDA's fuel map really does accomodate that extra octane increase. Amazing.

Well, I've pretty much listed them here without going into detail for the interior dress-up mods. Those can be found in Ali Express, which has FAR more cosmetic mods for the CX-5 than anywhere else.
I’ll be interested in reading the OP’s evaluation of the boost hose. The factory hose expands when boost is first applied so the CS part may result in better response at throttle tip-in, but once expanded there will be no difference. Too bad its black without insulation - but then it’s pretty easy to wrap it yourself for slightly improved charge density. Of course, it won’t look as cool.

I should have the boost hose within one or two days. Coming from Washington to Nevada which isn't a huge distance.
I've turned my OEM boos hose clamps to where I can readily loosen them to easily install the CorkSport hose.
->The OEM boost hose is REALLY flimsy so I'm glad I opted to replace it. Plus with Mojave Desert summer temperatures in the 100s the new silicone hose will last a lot longer.
I'm not so sure CorkSport's graphs on improved HP with a complete hose/hardpipe/intercooler replacement justifies doing that.
One of my other "upgrades" is a drop-in K&N air filter. The YouTube show "Engineering Explained" did a comparison of various OEM and aftermarket clean and dirty and K&N filters. The K&N filter "won" and definitely improved power by about 10 HP in the test so I'll stick with it, having used them successfully for the past 3 decades.
