Default 2025 CX-5 Seat Comfort

After test driving numerous 2025 CX-5's I'm trying to get used to the seating position, length of the bottom cushion and firmness of the cushion. I'm 5'7" and the seat bottom cushion seems to be too short to support my thighs. I've read numerous complaints on similar subjects with our seats on forums. . I've noticed that by lowering the seat height, it's somewhat improved, but the seat itself is not the most comfortable. Any members have any comments on the seat comfort on their late model CX-5's? Naturally, being comfortable on the seat is a major consideration before purchasing......The jury is still out for me, and I'm not certain I might be able to get used to these seats.

The lower trims have basic adjustments, but the middle and higher trims let you adjust the seat under your thighs. Which trims did you try out?

From what I'm aware of... None of the trims for the CX-5 have any different seats or adjustments for thigh extensions/etc... Too bad because everything else is great!

My wife complained about the seats of our ’22 CX-5 and I understood what she was talking about. There have been many complaints. On the advice another member here, I bought the RaoTanDang seat cushion (
Amazon Amazon
).
She’s happier now and I like it, too. Thinking of getting another one.

There have not been many complaints in fact very few considering the sales numbers of unites.
Yes wives at times complain about things, lol
That cushion solving the problem ….. glad it worked

You are correct that they don't have thigh extensions. However the top portion of the bottom can be moved up or down under the thighs in the Carbon Edition and higher models (at least from what I remember). It makes a big difference for someone like me who is big and tall. I still drive another CX-5 without that adjustment option and it's comfortable enough, but I do miss it there lol.

6'...no issues with the seat...took more getting used to having my legs angled down more vs being in a car where they were more straight out

I think all this is funny anyway when I seldom EVER see the driver sitting in the correct position for the best safe driving. My guess and also seems to be evidence from the NHTSA not yet published several insurance companies (auto as well health mostly in the work industry for work comp claims) that a majority of injuries sustained in a crash are possibly caused from incorrect seating position.

The main issue with seat comfort isn't the seats.
It's the literally infinite number of human "buttocks" sizes that it must accommodate
