Got it. They only sell 2.5l CX5's in the US and they are all AWD now.

 

In the United States the LAST CX5 offered in both 2wd and Awd was 2021- --- 22-25 AWD only on NA and Turbo - there is no 2.0 liter CX5 sold in the USA anymore--not since 2013-2016 was a 2.0 liter offered and it was a manual only - Gas Mileage -- expect better mileage as you get closer to 25K miles - also part of the 24 model year does not have CD- as there was a "parts shortage" late 23-24 - but It appears that the 25 model year has CD only on the top N/A trims so on longer trips the mileage will be lower than the previous few years unless you have A 25 Premium Plus or Carbon/ on others check vin - I have CD on my 23 NA and easily get 32-40 mpg avg at 28K miles using Chevron 91 only ( just took 800 mile trip avg 31.9 mpg -door to door /// - Change oil every 3-4 k miles/ I use ONLY Mazda OE - Factory ( idemitsu ) 0-w20 GF-5 w Moly. engine oil / with Mazda OE factory original ROKI- Japanese oil filters / Original TOYO R32 tires rotated as suggested in OM - PSI set to 37 .-( not 35 ) Freeway miles 90% - Engine air filter replaced with OE spec ( not value line ) 3x - about 8K mile intervals .-- Use turtle Wax Ceramic after washing every 2 months - a clean car gets better mileage -

 

My 2021 CX 5 with AWD and non turbo has 19,000 miles and averaged 28.7 mpg since new. Most trips are short with longer rides in there periodically. I like the car but can't stand the rough ride it has.

 

22K miles now and still right at 26 mpg.

 

2024 Carbon Edition non-turbo with 18,000 miles. 75% local, 25% highway. Average 32 MPG using 93 octane.
