2024 Mazda CX 5 non turbo mpg
A day 's drives or a week drives reporting MPG it not really a basis for an average. They correct way to do it is over at least 6 months and 2 times a year. Otherwise, what we see is more or less owners that are posting their best MPG on short reports.
I.E when we go to Reno Nevad for a day drive my trip is about 150-200 mile round trip and I get on average 47mpg. LOL That is impossible if I did the correct way to "AVAERAGE" mpg.

This is also a great place to log service information both from shops and what you have done. i.e. 03-24 52013 Cabin Filter LOL I just did this about 20 minutes ago
Since purchase I've averaged 31.8 mpg using the car readouts and 30.7 using my manually recorded fill-ups and mileage.
Worst I've seen was a hair over 26mpg but that was in near zero temps and doesn't include idling to warm up.
Best I saw, was surprisingly, 36 mpg in sport mode on a twisty back road with speeds 25-85...go figure.
I also never use my AC even in the summer, as I prefer opening the windows and/or sunroof.
All on 87 octane regular gas (with 10% ethanol) plus one bottle of Techron fuel system cleaner added each spring and fall.
Tire pressure checked weekly, and tires rotated twice a year.

ROLMAO is this mine is better then your thread? hahahahahaha
In the real world............................................. Going to any number of threads on numerous forums and all platforms you are going to see dozens of threads with member complaining about MPG... but we always have the ones that are an exception to the normal rule and how they determine their MPG.
I not saying that there are TALL STORIES about what some of you get but I can tell you those that posted higher then NATATIONAL AVERAGHE are very conservative with their driving habits and have actually learned with years and 100 of thousands of driving miles how to get the best MPG from any vehicle they control. Notice I used the word control. Thats because on a forum that has to do with planes take Mazda out of what they control and it is like reading the same responses her having to do with fuel consumption. A nice horizontal plain of direction and good tail wind improves the MPG on both air and land vehicles worthy of posting the personal MPG achieve. LOL
However no fourm beats the Tall tails of motorcycle forums and all their claims on some road bikes to MPG.
